Chocolate in your morning Coffee: Mocha
I have written about this before but allow me to repeat myself: I love mocha! Mochas are probably the reason why I even bothered exploring what coffee tastes like. Indulge in a good mocha with your preference of chocolate: dark, milk or white. I personally always go for the dark chocolate mocha as I think that’s the best way to taste the richness in the blend. This is also a great way for you to start a morning coffee routine if, like me, you did not grow up in a coffee culture. Those looking for a cheap alternative can always incorporate pure cocoa powder, like Cadbury’s cocoa powder, into their morning instant coffee: believe me, this will, definitely, enhance the flavours.

Dark Chocolate Chips for Breakfast: Waffles/ Pancakes/ Oats
Are you more of a sweet breakfast person? Great! How about adding chocolate chips (or flakes, or powder or shavings?) to about anything you would have prepared in the morning? Pancakes? Check. Waffles? Check. French Toast? Sure! What about a few chocolate chips over your overnight oats? Terrific idea! There are no limits here, so feel free to have fun with it. I personally like the semi-sweet chocolate chips by Hersheys.

Fruits dipped in Chocolate: Fondue
According to a study by Imperial College London, eating at least 10 portions of fruits and vegetables a day can reduce risks of heart disease, cancer and dying prematurely! And what better way of including fruits in your diet than by dipping them into the rich goodness of melted chocolate? Imagine sitting around a chocolate fondue with trays of sliced banana, strawberry, mandarin, peach and kiwi! Swirl a slice into that warm creamy goodness and, if you are cheeky enough, let your finger ‘accidentally’ dip into it. There’s nothing as satisfying as licking melted chocolate off you fingers (at least to me, there isn’t). Side note: Dark chocolate also reduces risk of heart disease so what are you waiting for?!

Chocolate cakes: Flourless
You want cake, but you heard flour is bad for your waistline? No worries! There are plenty of chocolate desserts you can make without using flour. My favourite is the authentic flourless chocolate cake which is dense and gooey. Have it still warm from the oven with some vanilla ice cream and fresh raspberries for a more interesting mix of flavours, textures and temperatures.
Other flourless chocolate dessert ideas are avocado brownies, chocolate peanut butter fudge, chocolate pudding, chocolate macaroons and so many more!

Healthy chocolate bars: Power bars
For the health freaks out there or those who just go through super healthy phases (I have my moments), power bars do not have to be all raisins and boredom. Use chocolate to jazz up your power bars or -if you are more of a hipster- power balls, and truly redefine the meaning of healthy eating. Integrate chocolate chips or flakes in your healthy nuts and dates mix or, even better yet, dip the bar into melted chocolate and let it cool in the fridge to create a delicious protein treat. If you are adventurous, why not consider rolling your power ball in some cocoa powder? *wink*
